Do not worry about anything; instead,pray about everything

Trust and Obey

This week is kind of hard for me. I am getting through a lot and do not know how to handle what i am facing now.
Today one of my friends recommended a song to me. The song's name is < Trust and Obey>.
He told me that God's timing is always amazing.God has it all under control, just keep praying and obeying.

"God has all under control"

If so, why should I worry that much?  I just focus on my own problems and compain why things can not have  better ends, and forget the most important thing is trusting and obeying.

Thank my dear God for telling me through my friend, Charlie.  I know that no matter what happens, God will always be there with me, and he will take care of me.

Trust and Obey

When we walk with the Lord

in the light of his word,

what a glory he sheds on our way!

While we do his good will,

he abides with us still,

and with all who will trust and obey.

Refrain:

Trust and obey, for there's no other way

to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

2. Not a burden we bear,

not a sorrow we share,

but our toil he doth richly repay;

not a grief or a loss,

not a frown or a cross,

but is blest if we trust and obey.

(Refrain)

3. But we never can prove

the delights of his love

until all on the altar we lay;

for the favor he shows,

for the joy he bestows,

are for them who will trust and obey.

(Refrain)

4. Then in fellowship sweet

we will sit at his feet,

or we'll walk by his side in the way;

what he says we will do,

where he sends we will go;

never fear, only trust and obey.
(Refrain)

love Pepperdine

Where did my time go?! I can not believe that we already finished the long weekend.
I had my first Martin Luther King day here. I  went to Altanta to visit Martin Luther King park last year. I was shocked when i saw all his vedios. His life is short, but he really did something amazing. He finished the work God gave him in his short short life. How wonderful it is.
We had one day break for Martin Luther King's day. Everybody was so excited. I do not have any classes on Mondays, so I was very clam :>

I like my session A's schedule. I just have 4 classes and no classes on Monday, Friday and weekend. That schedule give me a lot of time to do what i want to do.

Our club --Graziadio Christian Business Society--had an kick off metting last week. It was great. I am so exicted to see more and more people get together to praise God at Pepperdine.

I Love Pepperdine !!!

frist week of school

Basically, the first of school was good. After a very good Christmas break, I was so happy to go back school.

The only bad thing is that I lost my laptop on campus. That was very frustrating, but I know I have to move on. So I tried to think about that in a positive way. I trust God let everything happens for a reason, because HE cares me and HE cares everything that is important to me. My friend gave me a PC, so that I can do my all my work on it. I appriciate it a lot.

Everything will be OK. I still can see so many blessings in my life. I will strat to find a internship this semester.
My classmate told me that it is really hard for international students who have no work experience to find a job here, but i will still try.

God will take care of me, and I turst that He already prepared everything for me

your work as service to God

Attorneys, farmers, teachers, parents, street sweepers, police officers - all have a calling from God. Not just clergy, but all of us. So said Martin Luther. He called it the priesthood of all believers. While it isn't so because Luther said it, it is an important spiritual truth that many in our time appear to have missed.
            Suppose I were to ask why you work. How would you answer? To make money? To pay the bills? To keep a roof over your head? To earn enough from something you hate so you can someday do what you really want to do? While those responses aren't wicked, they are "stinkers." They are hardly the noblest of answers. And they are the ones typically given by people who suffer burnout.
            Work gives glory to God when it meets three criteria: (1) the task is honorable, (2) it is performed with integrity, and (3) it is done with a sense of one's role as a social creature who loves his neighbor as himself.
            The first norm means that nobody can be a thief or drug trafficker to the glory of God. Behaviors that are unethical cannot give heaven either pleasure or honor. The second criterion says that God is glorified only when you do your duty and make a good-faith effort to fulfill commitments - not just punching the clock, but doing your job as if your employer were Jesus instead of Mean Ole Bob.
            The third standard for working to God's glory may be the hardest to grasp. In my opinion, though, it is the most important element for turning a job into a calling or transforming what you may regard as boring work into something you are able to do "from the heart" and "to the Lord" (cf. Ephesians 6:6-7).
            "How in the world could I sell bolts or washing machines by that yardstick?" somebody demands to know. "It's just too idealistic!" Not really.
            I watched my father sell washing machines, hardware, and building materials that way for years. He never knowingly misrepresented a product, pushed a high-priced item over a loss costly one adequate for a buyer's purpose, or otherwise took advantage of a customer. He would have considered that a betrayal of his duty to love his neighbor, to share God's care for the human race.
            Sales people, physicians, cab drivers - the ones who genuinely care about their clients treat them differently from those who see them as meal tickets. They serve their needs and don't exploit them.
            Perhaps some who think they are unhappy because of a job undesirable to perform are simply doing tasks without a sense of serving God in doing them.
            "Whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father" (Colossians 3:17 NLT).
